So I set my alarm for the extreme earliness that is 6.20am last night before I went to bed (as I had to be at work early today)...
I woke up at about 5.40, turned over and went back to sleep and then got up when my alarm went off at 7.20!!!!!
Sabotage, I say!

I showered and dressed at light speed (for me) and hared out to the station, where I had to wait for 7 minutes for a stupid train!

Was only actually about 10 mins late in the end, and did manage to do everything I needed to do, but it was all a wee bit sweaty and stressful - could live without that kind of start to my day...

Missed breakfast too - thought it would be major tragedy as no time to get tasty Eat porridge on the way to work either, but happily, remembered that I have an enooooormous packet of branflakes in my desk drawer just in time, so disaster was averted :)

Have to be in early again tomorrow, so should get another go... Hopefully will do better next time!

Am just about to have a tasty lunch composed, primarily (ok - entirely) of a large volume of strawberries :)
Is v v good - I love berries :D

We seem to have a million people staying in the flat this weekend...

There's a girl (a friend of LBF's) who comes to stay about once a month as she's doing some kind of course in London and we're on her places-to-stay rotation. Is all good - we have spare(ish) room to sleep in and magic chair that transforms into bed so is all pretty comfy.
She's a vegetarian, which is fine for me, but LBF finds it a bit hard to not eat meat for any time at all, let alone the 4 or 5 days she's with us...

In addition, one of our friends is getting married in July and his stag night (or perhaps nights) is this weekend in London. As such, LBF has another friend who is going to come and crash with us for the weekend and then stay on next week so that they can do some work together.
Actually, he's the brother of the other stayee, which is a weird coincidence.
He'll probably have to crash on the sofa (which is enormous, and hence a pretty nice place to sleep) which is also fine, except that our kitchen and living room is all one, so it makes breakfast fairly unlikely for me for a few days, as well as meaning that every room in the flat is full, so I have nowhere to go!

Would all be fine, except that, because of stag night/s, LBF will be out on Fri and Sat and I find the idea of entertaining someone that I don't know that well all on my own completely intimidating...
I'm also supposed to be going out for drinks tomorrow night - I wasn't going to stay out for dinner (the people I'm going with tend to want to eat Chinese, which is kind of sugary and bad, so was going to give it a miss) but think I might have to now, to void having togo back to the flat...
We'd also agreed to go out for dinner with my parents and some cousins (who are staying with them) on Sat, so I guess I can try to drag that out as well!
All I really need now is to absent myself on Sunday - am thinking I might head off to Suffolk for the day, particularly if weather is good.

Phew - that was long post...

Anyone who is still with me - hope you're having nice days!
