.... myself and LBF are going here for celebratory (slightly late birthday) dinner 
It's a wee bit expensive, but is a very very cool place (I went there just before Christmas and it was utterly great)...
It's one of those places where you can have a million (or possibly 6 or 8) course 'tasting menu' and the food is all delightfully wacky (last time I had stilton icecream 
which is pretty fun and there's also cabaret style entertainment - last time there were trapeze artists, but think that tonight it's something a bit more musical and conventional.
The best thing about it when I was there previously, and the reason that I'm so very excited about it is that after dinner and during the entertainment, a girl came round all the tables with a big snake (a royal python, I think) which she was showing off to everyone and she let me hold him for aaaages 
It was totally great 
I'm going to be a little bit disappointed if, tonight, there isn't something at least almost as good as snake-snuggling...
Tomorrow we're going to the safari park though, so I guess I might be able to make up for it there
