There appear to be a mere 22 days until I am OLD...
This is a matter of some concern to me.
Will I have to be more adult, do you think?
I don't seem to have achieved very much thus far, either... Maybe is too late...
On a more pressing note - I need to make a birthday cake (or cakes) for my sister for Saturday.
I don't have a massive amount of time to do it in, as I have suddenly become horrendously busy (for the next couple of weeks), so it will have to be comparatively straightforward.
I have some (individually lettered) HAPPY BIRTHDAY candles, which I plan to utilise, but am not sure whether I want to put them all in one big cake or into 13 smaller cupcakes and I've got no idea what kind of thing to make?
Suggestions please (I'd like it to look birthdayish, but that's really all that matters)??
Also - do you think I want to be in a Jack the Ripper musical?
I don't know whether it's likely to be very good or not...

Goodness, so many issues...
1) You're not going to be OLD. I think it is going to make you seem even more youthful and wonderful. Truly.
2) I think make a main birthday cake out of the HUGE cupcake tin, and then put little mini cupcakes all around it. And decorate the big one like it's a present. I know you said it had to be straightforward, but I think you can do it.
